Current research

I am a Cancer Research UK TRACC Clinical Research Training Fellow, an integrated academic pathway for clinicians. My research interests centre around increasing pathological understanding of cancers of the Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) tract, particularly in characterising early carcinogenesis of these deadly diseases. Elucidating the crucial early molecular and microenvironmental drivers of HPB cancers is a keystone to improving patient outcomes.

I have been involved with industry collaborations to help harness the power of deep learning and artificial intelligence to improve clinical pathology workflows and interrogate tissue and diseases at a new level.
